01 — Name

Finding a name that represents an entire company, is distinctive and at the same time is not yet in use is a major challenge. However, it is extremely important to take enough time to find a name – because it is not easy to change it afterwards.

Here are a few examples from our brainstorming session:
- Kopfkino
- Augenweide
- Kommaklar
- Designbar

Almost all the terms were too generic, already used, unattractive or simply confusing. In the end, we chose "farbfest". The name has not yet been used, is phonetically great, conveys the company's mission and also looks damn good.

02 — Logo

It was important to us to create a modern, simple and easily recognizable logo that radiates creativity, flexibility and presence.

We chose Poppins as the font, which is a geometric and sans serif font for a modern and simple design. It appears in the square main logo on a green surface which, depending on the moment, represents a cube, a room or simply a geometric shape. Together with the colorful palette of the corporate design, this illustrates creativity and flexibility.

03 — Colors

We have developed a colorful palette of a total of 8 colors, which harmonize together but especially in pairs. The combination of light green and violet forms the main pair, which represents the company; the other three pairs stand for the three founders of farbfest.
